Future Forum PAC Backs Sarah Trone Garriott (IA-03) in Battleground Seat

Group Dedicated to Electing Young Democrats to Congress Endorses in Battleground District Key to Determining Control of U.S. House

WASHINGTON – Future Forum PAC, the political arm of Future Forum, who are the young Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives focused on elevating the issues of young Americans, today announced its next endorsement of a young Democrat running in a battleground district. This is the group's third endorsement of this election cycle.

Future Forum PAC is endorsing challenger Sarah Trone Garriott (IA-03), who is vying to win the Democratic primary and challenge Rep. Zach Nunn next November.

“Future Forum PAC is proud and excited to announce our endorsement of Sen. Sarah Trone Garriott in Iowa’s Third Congressional District’s Democratic primary,” said the Future Forum PAC.  “Sen. Garriott – a parent, legislator, and Lutheran minister – is an exciting candidate both for young voters and for Iowans at large.  She knows what it takes to win difficult elections, and we’re excited to help her get across the finish line in this primary and next November.”

“Politics as usual isn't working for hardworking Iowans and their families. We need a new generation of leaders who will bring real change to Washington,” said Sen. Sarah Trone Garriott. “I'll work to make life more affordable, take on corruption in government, and ensure we have clean water to drink. I'm proud to be endorsed by Future Forum PAC and be a part of the new generation of leaders working to solve the problems Iowans face.

Future Forum PAC works to elect young Americans to Congress, providing financial and strategic support to its endorsed candidates. With Millennials and post-Millennials now making up more than half of the U.S. population – and with Millennials overtaking Baby Boomers as the largest generational voting demographic – Future Forum PAC’s role in elevating and empowering young Americans in the political process continues to grow in importance and power.
