Future Forum PAC Applauds Current Slate of Endorsed Candidates As Majority-Makers After Candidates Are Added to DCCC’s First Red to Blue List in 2026 Cycle

WASHINGTON – Future Forum PAC – the political arm of Future Forum, a caucus of House Democrats aged 50 and under focused on elevating the issues of young Americans – applauds their current slate of endorsed candidates Paige Cognetti (PA-08), Rebecca Cooke (WI-03), JoAnna Mendoza (AZ-06), and Sarah Trone Garriott (IA-03) for being named to the first DCCC Red to Blue list of the 2026 cycle. Every candidate Future Forum PAC has endorsed so far this cycle was named to the list, making Future Forum’s candidates the tip of the spear for Democrats in their fight to win back the House majority.

“Americans, and especially younger Americans, understand our country is on the wrong track, as Trump jacks up the cost of living and squanders the future for younger generations. Millennials have taken over as the largest generational voting block, and they are ready to take the helm, as young people demand a new generation of leadership in Washington,” said the Future Forum PAC.

“Our endorsed candidates embody the ideas, energy and vision we need to push back on the Trump administration and create an agenda that meets the moment. These candidates know the stakes, they are working to make a difference, and importantly: they will win. Future Forum PAC is proud to stand behind these promising candidates as they fight to victory in their primaries and in the General Election so Democrats can retake the House majority,” the PAC continued.

Future Forum PAC works to elect young Americans to Congress, providing financial and strategic support to its endorsed candidates. With Millennials and post-Millennials now making up more than half of the U.S. population – and with Millennials overtaking Baby Boomers as the largest generational voting demographic – Future Forum PAC’s role in elevating and empowering young Americans in the political process continues to grow in importance and power.

About the Future Forum PAC Endorsed Challengers:

Paige Cognetti (PA-08)

vs. GOP Rep. Rob Bresnahan

Cook Rating: Lean R

Mayor Paige Cognetti’s career has been guided by the vision that government should work as hard as the people it serves. Paige worked with the Pennsylvania Auditor General, uncovering corruption in both parties and working to make nursing homes safer. She joined the Scranton School Board and worked to uncover waste, fraud, and abuse, so schools would work for our kids instead of cronies.

In 2019, Scranton’s then-mayor resigned after pleading guilty to federal charges. Paige ran for mayor as an Independent, taking on the local political establishment and a culture of corruption, in a campaign that became known as “Paige Against the Machine.”

Paige worked to make government serve the people, focusing on improving quality of life and reducing costs. She fought for more homes, more small businesses, more restaurants, and more parks. She streamlined the city’s permitting process, slashed permit fees, and cut red tape. Her efforts resulted in almost a thousand more homes, more than 250 new shops and eateries, and over 10,000 building permits in three years. She focused on local infrastructure, removed blighted structures, held absentee landlords accountable, and replaced thousands of street signs across the city.

Paige lives in Scranton with her husband Ryan, and their two daughters.

Rebecca Cooke (WI-03)

vs. GOP Rep. Derrick Van Orden

Cook Rating: Tossup

Rebecca Cooke was born and raised in Eau Claire, where she learned the value of hard work and community from her family and neighbors. Rebecca went on to start her own business and has been a champion for expanding opportunity in the region. Specifically, through the founding of the Red Letter Grant, a nonprofit that supports and empowers female entrepreneurs by providing opportunities and assistance that helps to start a business.

Rebecca has dedicated her career to bringing people together and finding practical solutions to the challenges Wisconsin families face. She served on the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation board, where she worked with Democrats and Republicans to invest in small businesses, strengthen rural communities, and create good-paying jobs.

Rebecca has a proven record of fighting for western Wisconsin. She has always put people ahead of politics, and that’s exactly what she’ll do in Congress. Rebecca lives in Eau Claire, runs her own business, and continues to advocate for working families and rural communities across the district.

JoAnna Mendoza (AZ-06)

vs. GOP Rep. Juan Ciscomani

Cook Rating: Tossup

Born and raised in Pinal County, JoAnna Mendoza is the daughter of farmworkers who taught her the values of hard work, resilience, and community. At just 17, Jo enlisted in the U.S. Navy before joining the U.S. Marine Corps, where she served for two decades, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, and trained the next generation of Marines as a Drill Instructor.

After retiring from the military, Jo returned home to raise her son, Aidan, and to continue her lifelong commitment to service. She earned two master’s degrees in Leadership and Political Psychology, became a nonprofit leader and veterans’ advocate, and worked as a congressional staffer and policy expert to deliver for Arizona families.

Jo has lived the struggles of rural poverty, military sacrifice, and single motherhood, and she has never stopped fighting for her community. In Congress, she will bring Arizona values of honesty and integrity to Washington, tackling the rising costs of food, housing, gas, and childcare while protecting Arizona’s water, expanding healthcare and education access, and defending democracy.

JoAnna Mendoza has always answered the call to serve; first for her country, and now for Southern Arizona.

Sarah Trone Garriott (IA-03)

vs. GOP Rep. Zach Nunn

Cook Rating: Lean Republican

Sarah Trone Garriot is a dedicated public servant with a track record to prove it. She’s served her communities as an AmericropsVISTA, a hospital chaplain, a parish pastor, a leader at her local food pantry network, and as a State Senator. Sarah has built a career rooted in compassion, integrity, and service.

Sarah’s record in the Iowa State Senate speaks for itself. Sarah flipped two Republican-held districts and won reelection in a Trump-won district. She did this by listening to her community and delivering on the issues that matter to her and so many others: affordable healthcare, support for working families, strong public schools, reproductive freedom, and real investments in mental health and childcare.

In a polarized political climate, Sarah brings people together. She has been a voice of reason and understating, respected by Democrats and Republicans, proven by her ability to flip seats. Her lived experience of everyday challenges is what makes her such an effective leader. Sarah put herself through college with service jobs, is raising two sons in Iowa public schools, and is juggling the demands of work, family, and community life.

Sarah Trone Garriott is the leader Iowa needs in Washington. She is someone who shows up, listens, and fights for real solutions. Her life’s work proves she’s not afraid to take on tough fights or to stand up for those who feel left out or left behind.
