WASHINGTON, D.C.– Future Forum-endorsed candidates across the country raised more than $50 million in the third quarter, out-raising their GOP opponents and out-performing them from the polls to the debate stage.
In 2024, Donald Trump made significant gains among young voters, hoping he would deliver on promises of much needed economic relief. But youth support is showing signs of strain as the president and House Republicans dig us deeper into an illegal war in Iran that continues raising prices for Gen Z. Affordability remains a major concern, and young voters represent an important constituency to watch this November.
The political environment is creating opportunities for Future Forum-endorsed candidates, who are continuing to build momentum in some of the country’s most competitive congressional districts. With twelve days until Election Day, these candidates are seeing strong fundraising, competitive polling, and growing attention from nonpartisan race raters.
Our candidates are ready to turn this momentum into results so the young people they talk to every day finally have a seat at the table.
Our candidates raised a combined over $50 million in Q3, this includes:
Rebecca Bennett, who had her largest fundraising quarter yet, raising nearly $4 million. This comes as Trump-backed PACs are pulling their money from incumbent Tom Kean Jr. and race raters continue to move NJ-07 in her direction.
In NY-17, where Cait Conley raised $5.4 million, far outraising incumbent Mike Lawler. Her momentum only grows as independent polls not only show Cait up against Lawler, but that voters are increasingly excited to show up and vote for her.
Paige Cognetti, who raised nearly $2.5 million in the third quarter, more than double incumbent Rob Bresnahan haul. Nonpartisan race raters are taking notice of Paige’s momentum, as they continue to move PA-08 in her direction.
Manny Rutinel, who raised over $4.2 million- a new Colorado House race fundraising record. This comes after Manny schooled incumbent Gabe Evans on the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on the debate stage.
In KY-06, where Zach Dembo raised nearly $1.5 million. This comes as momentum in Kentucky continues to build in his direction– polls show him in the lead and race raters continue to move the race in his direction.
Jake Johnson, who raised about $1.3 million– that’s nearly double the haul of MN-01’s GOP incumbent Brad Finstad. As polls show Johnson up over his opponent, non-partisan race raters have also taken notice of the momentum his campaign is building, moving the race once again in his direction.
Future Forum PAC works to elect young Americans to Congress, providing financial and strategic support to its endorsed candidates. Future Forum PAC's role in elevating and empowering young Americans in the political process continues to grow in importance and power. The PAC board is governed by Rep. Gabe Amo, Rep. Janelle Bynum, Rep. Morgan McGarvey, Rep. Sarah Elfreth, Rep. Johnny Olszewski, and Rep. Brittany Pettersen.
